Vortex is an upcoming arcade cabinet game that makes use of spinner controls for precision gameplay. The gameplay is easy to pick up but many techniques like curve shots, spikes and fakeouts are there to be mastered. Coming to arcades in 2020!
Vortex is an upcoming arcade cabinet game for two players.
The game utilizes a simple control scheme - a spinner and a single button.
The spinner gives players a great balance of speed and precision. By spinning while hitting the ball you can curve it, creating the chance for angle shots and fake-outs. The button winds up the paddle before shooting forward, giving players the chance to hit the ball back extra hard or making a slow trick shot with proper timing.

The game’s hardware is still in prototype form. We’re well into developing a table-style cabinet that’ll bring the game to life with light strips that react to volleys and points as the game progresses. Check out some sketches below!
